LogicSource® Appoints Mark Paretti, Vice President of Value Delivery
Norwalk, CT, December 15, 2017 – Mark Paretti has been named Vice President, Value Delivery at LogicSource®, the innovative sourcing and procurement leader, as it was announced today by Michael Braunschweiger, Managing Partner, Chief Procurement Officer. In this capacity, Paretti will be responsible for developing the sourcing and supply chain strategies so that critical Value Delivery objectives are achieved and implemented for LogicSource®’s well-known retail and consumer facing business clients.
“Mark has spent 15+ years building and translating business strategies into responsive, agile, and cost-controlled supply chain solutions that have delivered hundreds of millions in savings, profit and process improvements,” said Braunschweiger. “He is an important addition to our team and will be instrumental in ensuring that we deliver on the Value Delivery objectives we identify for our customers.”
Prior to today’s announcement, Paretti was Vice President of Strategic Planning and Operations for PVH Corp. There, he brought leadership to supply chain modernization initiatives including a supply chain planning software implementation, direct & indirect sourcing rationalization, distribution strategy, and collaborative sales and operational planning.
Previously, Paretti served as Vice President of Strategic Operations at Volcafe Specialty Coffees and its extensive network which included industrial partners like Starbucks and “third wave” coffee roasters like Stumptown. During his tenure, he was part of the team that led an unprecedented transformational business initiative – The Genuine Origin Coffee Project – whose goal was to develop a farm to shelf sustainable coffee brand. Paretti oversaw re-sourcing indirect and direct material spends, engineering rapid deployment fulfillment models, negotiating distribution deals, building sales and operational models, and coordinating all sourcing activities aimed at making the specialty coffee supply chain better.
Paretti has also served as a Director at three global companies – Unilever, Louis Vuitton, and Disney – where he lead several supply chain, distribution, procurement, and operations organizations. His many achievements while holding these roles include driving new architecture and strategy in supplier integration and operational speed to market at Unilever; eCommerce deployment, retail store inventory optimization, and the establishment of indirect procurement at Louis Vuitton, and building global profitable supply chains for Disney.
Paretti holds both a Masters of Business Administration and a Master’s of Science from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
