David Pennino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LogicSource as well as a founding partner of the firm.

David Pennino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LogicSource as well as a founding partner of the firm and a member of the Board of Directors. Given the strength of the team he has built around him, David focuses all of his efforts on three imperatives: 1) Corporate Strategy including category and footprint expansion; 2) Product and Service Marketing and Positioning; and 3) Client Service and New Client Acquisition.

David has over 20 years’ experience in the Services and Outsourcing industry including roles as a senior executive at Williams Lea Group, Scient, and Gartner. David received a Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College.

David has been married to his wife Elizabeth for 23 years and live in Charleston South Carolina with their four daughters.

Niki Heim is the Chief Financial Officer at LogicSource, where she is responsible for financial and accounting operations of the company.

Niki Heim joined LogicSource in July 2014 and holds the role of Chief Financial Officer, where she is responsible for the accounting operations of the company.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Niki was the Controller at Title Nine Sports, a women’s activewear company. She began her career by gaining four years of experience in public accounting where she worked on various industries including small business, government entities, and financial institutions. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst in the Risk Management team at a financial institution, Niki was responsible for leading the Sarbanes-Oxley audit, performing risk assessments, and she provided consultation on risk mitigation strategies and controls.

Niki received a BS in Accounting from Siena College.

Jo Seed is Chief Operating Officer at LogicSource. Jo is responsible for the vision, strategy and operational execution for all shared services, technology and client-site teams to ensure cross-functional service delivery for all of LogicSource’s current and prospective clients.

Jo has over 20 years’ experience in strategy and operations consulting, business transformation, technology solutioning and change management across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, the UK and Europe. Jo has successfully delivered numerous outsourcing, technology and business services solutions with global, regional and market-specific objectives to some of the world’s largest and most recognized brands.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Jo held a range of business development and consulting positions in both the US and Europe, working on major services engagements with Fortune 50 clients across the Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Publishing industries.

Jo has a BA Hons. in Psychology from the University of Reading in the UK.

Michael Braunschweiger is Managing Partner and Chief Procurement Officer at LogicSource. Michael is responsible for all aspects of our value delivery initiatives and the LogicSource supplier ecosystem.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience as a change catalyst for value and growth with a variety of companies including The Reader’s Digest Association, Novitex Enterprise Solutions and Joshua Morris Publishing. A recognized business process and savings expert, Michael understands how to lead teams and partners through critical change management initiatives and build strong supplier coalitions based on collaboration, transparency and trust.

Prior to joining LogicSource as an original team member, Michael held a range of executive operations positions, leading diverse global teams and strategic partners to strong results through successful business process redesign initiatives and strategic supplier alliances, to maximize value and savings potential.

Michael graduated with honors from the Institute of Dental Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.

Jessica has over ten years of experience as in-house counsel working on issues relating to supply chain and procurement, as well as a multitude of other subject matter areas including commercial contracts, strategic partnerships, food safety and quality, policy drafting, regulatory and compliance matters, and international business development.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Jessica worked at Franchise World Headquarters, LLC, the service organization to the global Subway® Franchise brand. In her most recent role, she led a team managing and negotiating a global portfolio of food, beverage, packaging, and equipment contracts.

Kurt Kostur is the Chief Client Officer and leads LogicSource's Client Services division. Kurt is accountable for our most important asset, our Clients, and owns the LogicSource/Client relationship experience, focusing on service delivery, loyalty and referenceablity. As a past LogicSource client and advisory board member, Kurt is in a unique position to lead our client services team in delivering exceptional value for our partners. Kurt has over 30 years of combined experience as a client, engaging with professional services companies, as well as serving in professional services roles.

Before joining the company, Kurt served in senior-level marketing roles with major brands such as Ashley HomeStores, HSN (Home Shopping Network), Universal, Paramount, and Bank of America. Kurt began his career in client services with DDB Chicago on brands such as Anheuser-Busch and General Mills.

Kurt received a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Bethany College in Bethany, WV.

Steve is responsible for driving consultative engagements with our clients, determining requirements and designing solutions that leverage LogicSource unique capabilities to most effectively meet client needs.

Steve brings over 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing, business strategy, and client relationship management. Prior to joining LogicSource, Steve was Vice President at Topco Indirect Spend where he led strategy and client management for 50+ clients, managing over $1.5B in indirect spend.

He has also held leadership positions within Ahold USA where he helped launch the indirect sourcing department, Shaw’s Supermarkets where he oversaw marketing and advertising, and Accenture where he led corporate strategy projects for clients across diverse industries.

Steve holds a BS from University of Massachusetts, an MS from Tufts University and an MBA for the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.

Mark Van Sumeren is the General Manager of the LogicSource healthcare practice. He also serves on the board of Crown Healthcare Laundry Inc. and as Non-Executive Chairman of Tri-Imaging Solutions, Inc.

Mark has over forty years of experience in strategy, operations, and supply chain in healthcare. He previously served as Chief Strategist and Business Intelligence Officer for Owens & Minor, Inc.; as a Partner in the healthcare consulting practice at Ernst & Young; and as a Management Engineer at the Detroit Medical Center.

Mark also serves on the National Advisory Board of the Congenital Heart Center at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan; the Board of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor; the Leadership Council of the ChadTough Foundation; and on the Advisory Board of the Medical Device Supply Chain Council. In 2021, Mark was inducted into the Bellwether League Hall of Fame for supply chain excellence in healthcare. In 2022, he was named a Healthcare Hero by GHX.

Mark holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Operations Engineering, also from the University of Michigan.

Sam Vail is a Managing Partner accountable for the growth and profitability for the company’s sourcing and procurement services-enabled technology line of business – OneMarket®. Sam has over 25 years of global experience in senior leadership positions in professional services, private equity and information technology businesses.

Prior to joining LogicSource in 2012, Sam was a Partner at ISG the global leader for sourcing consulting, advisory, data and governance where he led the practice dedicated to working with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies which became the fastest growing vertical at ISG. Before ISG, Sam spent ten years in private equity as an Operating Partner at Kidd and Company and Spencer Trask focused on top line growth and operating value improvement for over twenty middle market businesses. At Gartner Group he was Group Vice President and built Gartner’s Worldwide Strategic Account organization making significant contributions to this hyper-growth period in the company’s history as the IT research and advisory global leader grew at a 25% CAGR over an eight year period.

Craig Garno is Chief Technology Officer, responsible for corporate information technology, security and delivering innovative technology solutions that drive process efficiencies and savings for the company's clients. He is the principal architect for the company’s OneMarket(R) technology platform.
  
Prior to joining LogicSource, Craig was a co-founder and General Manager and Vice President of Technology for Cirqit. At Cirqit, he architected their industry-leading procurement technology platform. He oversaw Product Management, Software Engineering, and IT Operations. Additionally, he was instrumental in new client acquisition and partnership development. His tenure culminated in the successful acquisition of Cirqit's technology platform and client-base into LogicSource.

Prior to Cirqit, Craig was Vice President of Technology for the L.P. Thebault Company. Here, Craig architected an Internet-based prototype for automating print procurement workflow, which led to the formation of Cirqit.

Craig has over 25 years experience developing software technology for workflow, manufacturing and business solutions within manufacturing and services industries. He holds a BS degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Malinda Long joined LogicSource in July 2017 and holds the role of Director, Talent Acquisition where she drives the implementation of strategic talent initiatives focused on acquiring, developing and retaining a highly-skilled talent workforce.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Malinda grew her 12-year recruiting career within various industries including Management Consulting, Finance, Pharmaceutical and Agency side staffing. While growing credibility to hire quality talent, Malinda, established strategies and drove talent acquisition and development programs to ensure the hiring, retention, and success of the workforce for scaling companies.

Malinda holds a BA from Hunter College in Performing Arts and Sociology.

Chris Maher is Managing Partner, Business Development at LogicSource. Chris is responsible for company communications, marketing and lead generation initiatives.

Chris has more than 30 years experience in marketing strategy, advertising, promotion, shopper marketing and digital marketing. He has worked with top CPG companies, helped launch and build agencies in the US, lead a global agency roll-up within a holding company network and launched and built a BPO company in the US and India.

Prior to joining LogicSource Chris was the CEO of Marketing Drive Worldwide (a division of IPG) where he won global awards for innovation and organic growth. Chris also served as a partner in at MGR, as founder and CEO of GreenLight and as founder and partner at Convergence Marketing.

Chris started his career at Procter & Gamble and Kraft Foods where he held various positions in marketing and sales.

Chris holds a BA in Marketing from Boston College and has served on the board of A Better Chance.

Christine joined LogicSource in 2018 and has over 12 years of experience in Human Resources. As HR Director, she oversees areas including onboarding, learning and development, performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, and payroll and benefits administration.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Christine worked in Human Resources within the advertising industry, last at Media Storm and earlier at Omnicom Media Group.

Christine received a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and Development from NYU, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Organizational Development from Fairfield University.

Mike has more than 25 years of experience as a sourcing and procurement leader in markets such as retail, pharmaceutical, finance, and manufacturing. Mike has deep experience in both indirect products and services as well as direct materials. A recognized business process and savings expert, Mike understands how to build and lead global teams, leverage procurement technology, and establish strong stakeholder relationships based on collaboration, transparency and trust.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Mike held a range of executive positions leading diverse global teams to ensure Sourcing and Procurement were enablers for the business by driving value through cost reduction, process improvement, ideation, and supplier relationship management.

Mike graduated with honors from West Liberty State University in West Virginia.

John is an experienced C-Level executive having worked in a variety of leadership roles including CFO, COO, CCO, and Partner at a Big 4 accounting firm. John worked at Oak Hill Capital Partners from 2004–2010 as its Chief Operating Officer where he created one of the industries first Portfolio Procurement Programs. Prior to Oak Hill, he spent 12 years at GE Capital serving in multiple roles including Corporate Controller, Group CFO, and Managing Director for the Private Equity business

Recently John was named Chair of the Board for the UCONN Foundation, the fundraising entity for the University of Connecticut. John holds a B.S. in Accounting and Business/Management from The University of Connecticut.

His 25+ years of management and advisory experience ranges from strategic planning and top line growth initiatives to operational enhancement, restructuring, acquisition due diligence, and merger integration.

Throughout his career, Matt has led complex transformations that require alignment across organizations. He is known to drive sustainable EBITDA growth in margin improvement, costs of goods reduction and expense alignment.

Prior to consulting, Matt held Management roles at Macy's and Federated Department Stores. Matt holds a B.A. in Economic, Organizational Design and Industrial Policy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

John Pavia is an advisor to LogicSource, focused on strategic growth, driving revenue, and business development. Prior to joining LogicSource Mr. Pavia was the Executive Vice President of Business & Corporate Development at FM Facility Maintenance where he helped grow that company into the largest privately held maintenance provider in the North America. Prior to FM, Mr. Pavia was part of the management group that acquired Moore Corporation and then executed a roll-up strategy that ultimately led to the takeover of RR Donnelley & Sons in 2005. In the span of five years the team grew the business from $500 million in top-line sales to $7.5 billion, creating the world's largest commercial printing company.

Mr. Pavia started out his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, and later was a partner at the law firm of Levy & Droney. He left private practice to become General Counsel of Huon Corporation, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company based in London and Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Pavia was an early investor in BeenVerified.com, and HEI Hospitality, a leading hospitality enterprise that owns and manages premiere hotels throughout the U.S. including the W Hollywood. He has served on several public and private Boards, and currently sits as a director on the Boards of Spotlight Parking, OneWayLimo, and Connecticut Innovations where he is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

He has a strong ability to assess the current direction, revenue opportunity, and human capital of a business, and then implement a strategic blueprint for sustained growth and brand equity.

Jeff is the former Vice Chair and CFO of General Electric where he focused on portfolio transformation including the sale of Appliances, executing the merger of GE Oil & Gas with Baker Hughes, the sale of $300B+ of businesses and assets of GE Capital and GE’s acquisition of Alstom, as well as, driving down structural costs.

Jeff is currently the Managing Partner of Whipstick Ventures LLC focused on investing in and advising early stage companies. His Investments and other advisory positions to date include Zinc5, Emulate Bio, EOS Energy, GS Thermal, Mom’s Belief and Tax Genie.

He is on the board of Northeastern University and BuildOn and also been involved in a number of youth programs. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Denis was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award in 2013 for his work with Kids in Crisis. He is active in the community and has been a board member of the David Wright Foundation, buildOn, Kids in Crisis and New Canaan Youth Football.

Christine serves as a Board Member for the University of Kent UKA, and is on the Advisory Board for Spin-Analytics, a FinTech & RegTech company & Generation 3 Development. She has a BA from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and a MA from the University of Kent.

Mary previously worked at Mars, Inc, as General Manager of Mars Botanical, and as Chief Technology and Quality Officer at E&J Gallo Winery. Additionally, Mary served in leadership roles at Taco Bell and General Mills.

She has been a member of the national board of directors of Girls, Inc., the regional board of the Salvation Army and the board of SUSTAIN (Sharing Science and Technology to Aid in the improvement of Nutrition).

Mary has a BS and MS from Iowa State University and a PhD from the University of Minnesota.
