John Malfettone joined the LogicSource Advisory Board in January of 2019. John is a recently retired Senior Managing Director for Clayton Dubilier & Rice, where he was responsible for all procurement initiatives in the CD&R portfolio which included companies in the retail/consumer, industrial, health care, and services industries.

John is an experienced C-Level executive having worked in a variety of leadership roles including CFO, COO, CCO, and Partner at a Big 4 accounting firm. John worked at Oak Hill Capital Partners from 2004–2010 as its Chief Operating Officer where he created one of the industries first Portfolio Procurement Programs. Prior to Oak Hill, he spent 12 years at GE Capital serving in multiple roles including Corporate Controller, Group CFO, and Managing Director for the Private Equity business

Recently John was named Chair of the Board for the UCONN Foundation, the fundraising entity for the University of Connecticut. John holds a B.S. in Accounting and Business/Management from The University of Connecticut.

Matt Katz joined the LogicSource advisory board in 2015. Matt currently holds the role of Managing Partner with SSA & Company and has global in-depth experience with retailers, service providers and suppliers of consumer products. His 25+ years of management and advisory experience ranges from strategic planning and top line growth initiatives to operational enhancement, restructuring, acquisition due diligence, and merger integration.

Throughout his career, Matt has led complex transformations that require alignment across organizations. He is known to drive sustainable EBITDA growth in margin improvement, costs of goods reduction and expense alignment.

Prior to consulting, Matt held Management roles at Macy’s and Federated Department Stores. Matt holds a B.A. in Economic, Organizational Design and Industrial Policy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

John Pavia is an advisor to LogicSource, focused on strategic growth, driving revenue, and business development. Prior to joining LogicSource Mr. Pavia was the Executive Vice President of Business & Corporate Development at FM Facility Maintenance where he helped grow that company into the largest privately held maintenance provider in the North America. Prior to FM, Mr. Pavia was part of the management group that acquired Moore Corporation and then executed a roll-up strategy that ultimately led to the takeover of RR Donnelley & Sons in 2005. In the span of five years the team grew the business from $500 million in top-line sales to $7.5 billion, creating the world’s largest commercial printing company.

Mr. Pavia started out his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, and later was a partner at the law firm of Levy & Droney. He left private practice to become General Counsel of Huon Corporation, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company based in London and Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Pavia was an early investor in BeenVerified.com, and HEI Hospitality, a leading hospitality enterprise that owns and manages premiere hotels throughout the U.S. including the W Hollywood. He has served on several public and private Boards, and currently sits as a director on the Boards of Spotlight Parking, OneWayLimo, and Connecticut Innovations where he is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Olin Lancaster joined the LogicSource Advisory Board in August of 2017. He is currently the Group President of Men’s and Women’s Apparel at Global Brands Group, a member of the Fung Group. At Global Brands he leads Diverse Portfolio of Commercial and Premium Brands to drive significant profitable growth through a unified commerce approach.

Olin has more than 25 years of experience with consumer brand–facing organizations in C-suite level positions including: President of multiple Wholesale divisions at Ralph Lauren Inc., Division President at Kenneth Cole Menswear, and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for DKNY Men’s Sportswear Worldwide. He has a strong ability to assess the current direction, revenue opportunity, and human capital of a business, and then implement a strategic blueprint for sustained growth and brand equity.

Olin holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree (History/Economics) from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas.

Jeff Bornstein joined the LogicSource Advisory Board in May of 2018. Jeff is the former Vice Chair and CFO of General Electric where he focused on portfolio transformation including the sale of Appliances, executing the merger of GE Oil & Gas with Baker Hughes, the sale of $300B+ of businesses and assets of GE Capital and GE’s acquisition of Alstom, as well as, driving down structural costs.

Jeff is currently the Managing Partner of Whipstick Ventures LLC focused on investing in and advising early stage companies. His Investments and other advisory positions to date include Zinc5, Emulate Bio, EOS Energy, GS Thermal, Mom’s Belief and Tax Genie.

He is on the board of Northeastern University and BuildOn and also been involved in a number of youth programs. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University.

Denis Lapolice joined the LogicSource Advisory Board in 2017. Denis founded Resource Management Group in 1992 and has over 25 years of experience in executive search, advising clients on talent selection and is nationally recognized as a leading search professional.

Denis works with some of the world’s most influential companies, including General Electric, Honeywell, Pepsico, Dover, and Amazon. Denis focuses on Chief Financial Officer assignments for a broad range of industries such as consumer products, financial services, technology, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Denis was awarded the Volunteer of the Year award in 2013 for his work with Kids in Crisis. He is active in the community and has been a board member of the David Wright Foundation, buildOn, Kids in Crisis and New Canaan Youth Football.

Kevin O’Neil joined LogicSource Advisory Board in 2023. Previously, he was the Executive Vice President, of the Diageo/Moet Hennessy Division of the Breakthru Beverage Group. Prior to BBG Kevin was the Chief Commercial Officer at Diageo North America. In 41 years in the Wine & Spirits Industry he led sales, finance, human resource and marketing teams. He led Diageo’s US Sales Teams during its industry transforming route to market evolution. He currently consultants’ companies and teams in the beverage business.

Kevin is the Secretary on the Board at the Pocasset Golf Club as well as serving on the clubs Green Committee.

Kevin has a BS in Mathematics from Boston College.

Mary K. Wagner joined LogicSource Advisory Board in January 2017. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President, of Global Product Innovation, Food Safety and Quality at Starbucks Coffee Company. Mary previously worked at Mars, Inc, as General Manager of Mars Botanical, and as Chief Technology and Quality Officer at E&J Gallo Winery. Additionally, Mary served in leadership roles at Taco Bell and General Mills.

She has been a member of the national board of directors of Girls, Inc., the regional board of the Salvation Army and the board of SUSTAIN (Sharing Science and Technology to Aid in the improvement of Nutrition).

Mary has a BS and MS from Iowa State University and a PhD from the University of Minnesota.
