David Pennino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LogicSource as well as a founding partner of the firm.

David Pennino is the President and Chief Executive Officer of LogicSource as well as a founding partner of the firm. Given the strength of the team he has built around him, David focuses all of his efforts on three imperatives: 1) Corporate Strategy including category and footprint expansion; 2) Product and Service Marketing and Positioning; and, 3) Client Service and New Client Acquisition.

Prior to LogicSource, David worked for Williams Lea, where he was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategic Solutions and helped launch their North American Procurement Outsourcing business.

David has over 19 years experience in the Services and Outsourcing industry including roles as a senior executive at Gartner Inc. and Scient Corporation. David received a BA from Franklin & Marshall College.

John Pavia is the company’s Executive Vice President for Corporate Development. He is focused on strategic growth, driving revenue, and business development. Prior to joining LogicSource Mr. Pavia was the Executive Vice President of Business & Corporate Development at FM Facility Maintenance where he helped grow that company into the largest privately held maintenance provider in the North America. Prior to FM, Mr. Pavia was part of the management group that acquired Moore Corporation and then executed a roll-up strategy that ultimately led to the takeover of RR Donnelley & Sons in 2005. In the span of five years the team grew the business from $500 million in top-line sales to $7.5 billion, creating the world's largest commercial printing company.

Mr. Pavia started out his career as an Assistant District Attorney in New York, and later was a partner at the law firm of Levy & Droney. He left private practice to become General Counsel of Huon Corporation, a Warburg Pincus portfolio company based in London and Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Pavia was an early investor in BeenVerified.com, and HEI Hospitality, a leading hospitality enterprise that owns and manages premiere hotels throughout the U.S. including the W Hollywood. He has served on several public and private Boards, and currently sits as a director on the Boards of Spotlight Parking, OneWayLimo, and Connecticut Innovations where he is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Niki Burger joined LogicSource in July 2014 as Sr VP, Finance, where she is responsible for the accounting operations of the company.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Niki was the Controller at Title Nine Sports, a women’s activewear company. She began her career by gaining four years of experience in public accounting where she worked on various industries including small business, government entities, and financial institutions. Additionally, as a Senior Analyst in the Risk Management team at a financial institution, Niki was responsible for leading the Sarbanes-Oxley audit, performing risk assessments, and she provided consultation on risk mitigation strategies and controls.

Jo Seed is Chief Commercial Officer at LogicSource. Jo is responsible for all aspects of solution design, analytics and implementation with target customers prior to steady-state operations.

Jo has over 15 years of experience in consulting, project and program management, business transformation, technology strategy and change management across North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, the UK and Europe. Jo has successfully delivered numerous outsourcing, technology and business services solutions with global, regional and market-specific objectives to some of the world’s largest and most recognized brands.

Prior to joining LogicSource, Jo held a range of senior business development and consulting positions in both the US and Europe, working on major services engagements with Fortune 50 clients across the Retail, CPG, Financial Services, Pharmaceutical and Publishing industries.

Jo has a BA Hons. in Psychology from the University of Reading in the UK.

Michael Braunschweiger is the Managing Partner and Chief Procurement Officer at LogicSource. Michael is responsible for all aspects of our strategic sourcing initiatives and the LogicSource supplier ecosystem.

Michael has more than 25 years of experience as a change catalyst for value and growth with a variety of companies including The Reader’s Digest Association, Novitex Enterprise Solutions and Joshua Morris Publishing. A recognized business process and savings expert, Michael understands how to lead teams and partners through critical change management initiatives and build strong supplier coalitions based on collaboration, transparency and trust.

Prior to joining LogicSource as an original team member, Michael held a range of executive operations positions, leading diverse global teams and strategic partners to strong results through successful business process redesign initiatives and strategic supplier alliances, to maximize value and savings potential.

Michael graduated with honors from the Institute of Dental Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.

Sam Vail is a Managing Partner and our Chief Client Officer who is accountable for our most important asset – our Clients. Sam owns our Client Relationship Management experience focusing on service delivery, loyalty and referenceablity. Sam has over 25 years of global experience in senior leadership positions in professional services, private equity and information technology businesses.

Prior to joining LogicSource in 2012, Sam was a Partner at ISG the global leader for sourcing consulting, advisory, data and governance where he lead the ISG consulting practice dedicated to working with Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies which became the fastest growing vertical at ISG. Before ISG, Sam spent ten years in private equity as an Operating Partner at Kidd and Company and Spencer Trask focused on top line growth and operating value improvement for over twenty middle market businesses. At Gartner Group he was Group Vice President and built Gartner’s Worldwide Strategic Account organization making significant contributions to this hyper-growth period in the company’s history as the IT research and advisory global leader grew at a 25% CAGR over an eight year period.

Craig Garno is Chief Technology Officer, responsible for corporate information technology, security and delivering innovative technology solutions that drive process efficiencies and savings for the company's clients. He is the principal architect for the company’s OneMarket(R) technology platform.
  
Prior to joining LogicSource, Craig was a co-founder and General Manager and Vice President of Technology for Cirqit. At Cirqit, he architected their industry-leading procurement technology platform. He oversaw Product Management, Software Engineering, and IT Operations. Additionally, he was instrumental in new client acquisition and partnership development. His tenure culminated in the successful acquisition of Cirqit's technology platform and client-base into LogicSource.

Prior to Cirqit, Craig was Vice President of Technology for the L.P. Thebault Company. Here, Craig architected an Internet-based prototype for automating print procurement workflow, which led to the formation of Cirqit.

Craig has over 25 years experience developing software technology for workflow, manufacturing and business solutions within manufacturing and services industries. He holds a BS degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

David Howe is the Chief of Staff at LogicSource where he manages the shared services resources of the firm, assigns this talent base to our clients, and develops internal capabilities that serve our clients. 
 
David brings more than 30 years of experience to his role with LogicSource, including client and business leadership positions with Booz Allen Hamilton, FCB Direct, Digitas, and Gartner. Prior to joining LogicSource, David served as the global CFO of Institutional Treasury Services at Citicorp where he led business planning and forecasting, strategic acquisitions and investments, and cost control initiatives.
David received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Harvard and an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Bruce Walton is Managing Partner, Client Solutions at LogicSource and plays a lead role on the team that drives all aspects of consultative engagement with clients to determine requirements and design a solution that best matches our clients’ needs with LogicSource capabilities. The Client Solutions team manages the up-front data gathering, technology design, operations and financial analysis, business case development, contractual negotiations and customer relationships until an agreement is executed and the services can be transitioned to our Client Operations team.

Bruce brings 20 years of experience to his role with LogicSource, including senior executive positions managing solutions and services organizations within Procurian and Emptoris. Immediately prior to joining LogicSource, Bruce worked for Accenture, where he was a long-time Managing Director in the company’s supply chain strategy practice, focusing on the sourcing and procurement space where he led dozens of large, global organizations to significant improvements in their procurement process, technology and organizational capabilities.

Bruce received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and MBA from Wharton School of Business.

Chris Maher is the company’s Chief Marketing Officer at LogicSource. Chris is responsible for all company communications, marketing and lead generation initiatives.

Chris has more than 30 years experience in marketing strategy, advertising, promotion, shopper marketing and digital marketing. He has worked with top CPG companies, helped launch and build agencies in the US, lead a global agency roll-up within a holding company network and launched and built a BPO company in the US and India.

Prior to joining LogicSource Chris was the CEO of Marketing Drive Worldwide (a division of IPG) where he won global awards for innovation and organic growth. Chris also served as a partner in at MGR, as founder and CEO of GreenLight and as founder and partner at Convergence Marketing.

Chris started his career at Procter & Gamble and Kraft Foods where he held various positions in marketing and sales.

Chris holds a BA in Marketing from Boston College and has served on the board of A Better Chance.

Randy Christofferson is currently the Chairman of LogicSource and the Managing Director of MIOGA Ventures. Randy is a senior executive with extensive and successful experience in financial services, business process outsourcing, technology, and consumer marketing businesses. Randy has worked closely with a variety of Private Equity firms in both advisory roles and on over a dozen corporate boards. Previously, Randy was the CEO of Sky Business Capital, the Chairman of iQor, the CEO of Walker Digital, the Chairman of Starcite, and the President of First USA—which was then the largest issuer of Visa credit cards in the world. Prior to First USA, he served as President of American Express Relationship Services and led an operating group of five businesses and as the EVP of Quality and Reengineering, where he managed reengineering initiatives yielding more than $1.7B in annual profit improvement. Prior to American Express, Randy was a Partner with Bain and Company and a Development Engineer with Procter and Gamble.

Mike Krupka joined Bain Capital in 1991. Mike is a Managing Director of Bain Capital Ventures. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Mike was a Managing Director with the Private Equity Group of Bain Capital, during which time he focused his investing activities on technology and technology-driven companies, including software, hardware, database and telecommunication services. Earlier at Bain Capital, Mike was part of Information Partners, a fund focused on early-stage information technology investing. He has also served in several operating roles as President of a $110 M revenue software company and CFO of a $70 M revenue services company. Prior to Bain Capital, Mike was a consultant with Bain & Company.

In addition to his firm and portfolio company responsibilities, Mike also serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Boston.

Jeff was Logic Source’s Chairman from the Company’s founding in 2009 through the end of 2016 and is currently chairman of our Advisory Board. Jeff currently serves as Chairman of Vantiv, a $14 billion publicly-traded payment processing company. He was formerly President of American Express and Chairman, President, CEO of Digital Insight from 2003 until the Company’s sale to Intuit in 2007, and has served on many public and private company boards. He brings to Logic Source more than 40 years of experience building service businesses in a variety of industries, leading corporate boards , and helping develop CEOs and their leadership teams.

Jeff graduated from Williams College and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives with his wife, Suzanne, in Rancho Santa Fe, California. They have 6 children and a semi-housebroken small dog.

Robert Howe is a Managing Partner at Highnote Ventures and is also the Chairman of Montgomery Goodwin Investments LLC, a private investment and consulting firm.

Prior to Montgomery Goodwin Investments, Bob served as Chairman of Scient Inc, a provider of integrated e-business strategy and technology services. He also served as Scient’s Chief Executive Officer from 1998 until 2000.

From 1991 until 1998 Bob worked for IBM. His last assignment was as its General Manager of its global banking, financial and securities business. Prior to that Bob founded the IBM Consulting Group, the largest consulting business in the world. From 1976 until 1991 Bob served in various consulting positions with Booz Allen Hamilton, including Senior Vice President, on the board of directors for nine years, and the leader of the commercial systems and financial services practices.

Bob is Chairman of Globoforce, a SaaS company focused in the Human Capital Management market and a Director of Symphony Services a global information technology services firm.

Bob has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from SMU.

Gregory Hunt joined the LogicSource Advisory Board in January 2016 after previously serving as a member of the LogicSource Board of Directors. He began his term as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Apollo Investment Corporation in 2012. After serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Yankee Candle which he joined in April 2010.

Prior to Yankee Candle, Mr. Hunt served as the Executive Vice President of Strategic and Commercial Development for Norwegian Cruise Lines from 2007 to 2009 and as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer of Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Inc. from 2006 to 2007 and Chief Financial Officer and Co-Chief Executive of Syratech Corporation from 2001 to 2006.

Mr. Hunt has also held several senior financial leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer of NRT Inc., Culligan Water Technologies, Inc. and Samsonite Corporation. He also serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for the University of Vermont School of Business. Mr. Hunt earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Vermont and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Kenneth Hamlet is a Senior Advisor at Crestview Partners. He currently is the co-managing member of Monalex Partners, LLC. Mr. Hamlet has a wide spectrum of executive experience, notably his tenure as president and CEO of Holiday Inns Inc. Hotel Group. After the sale of Holiday Inns, Inc., Mr. Hamlet founded and became chairman and CEO of Hamlet Holdings LLC, which held interests in a diverse set of industries including: real estate development, manufacturing, services, retail, investment banking, agriculture and computer-based entertainment in hotel rooms. Jeffrey Bloomberg

Jeffrey Bloomberg is responsible for overseeing business development efforts for Gordon Brothers Group's Retail Division. He is on the advisory board for both the 1903 Debt and Equity Funds for GB Merchant Partners, Gordon Brothers Group's investment management affiliate. Jeffrey is an accomplished financial executive and recognized expert in retail mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Gordon Brothers Group in 2002, Jeffrey worked in investment banking for nearly 20 years, beginning at Lehman Brothers and then serving 15 years on Wall Street with Bear Stearns, where he was a general partner and senior managing director for the retail and consumer products sectors. In addition, he was a member of Bear Stearns' Valuation Committee.

Jeffrey is a current or former board member of the following public companies: Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Inc., Nortek,Inc., RHI Entertainment Inc., Duckwall-Alco Stores, Inc. and Asahi-America,Inc. He has been active in a number of community organizations and currently serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Boston and Facing History and Ourselves.

Jeffrey is a graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Remko van Hoek

Remko van Hoek is the former CPO of the Walt Disney Company where he had enterprise-wide responsibility for $15billion in spending. He has also held CPO roles in several other companies in Europe. He has extensive professional services experience from PwC and CEB. At CEB he was managing director and started the Procurement Strategy Council and Supply Chain Council.

Remko is currently also supporting Logicsource in a CPO-focused initiative that aims to grow Logicsource’ brand and positioning with CPOs.

Remko holds a PhD in supply chain and has taught at several schools around the world. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply and the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transportation. He is a visiting professor at the Cranfield School of Management in the UK (Europe’s top school in supply chain and one of the top 10 schools globally) and co-author of several textbooks.

He is a highly regarded executive with more than 35 years of experience leading and advising retail and consumer products companies. He has served as interim CEO, interim COO, and financial advisor for many well-known companies including Baccarat, Inc., Laura Ashley N.A., Caswell Massey, Ciro, Inc., MacKenzie-Childs, and Wilkes Bashford.

Michael has hands-on experience in multiple specialty-wholesale categories, including apparel, home furnishings, and accessories. He has provided strategic advisory, due diligence and expert witness consulting services to retailers, financial institutions, and consumer product companies including Ford Motor Company, Castle Harlan, Whippoorwill Associates (Barney’s New York), and AIG.

Michael received his B.A. from Brandeis University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mary K. Wagner joined LogicSource Advisory Board in January 2017. Previously, she was the Senior Vice President, of Global Product Innovation, Food Safety and Quality at Starbucks Coffee Company. Mary previously worked at Mars, Inc, as General Manager of Mars Botanical, and as Chief Technology and Quality Officer at E&J Gallo Winery. Jeff Balash joined LogicSource in June 2016 as a Senior Advisor. Jeff is the Founder and CEO of Comstock Investors (www.comstockinvestors.com), which he founded in 1992. Comstock works with middle market companies to grow their businesses through developing creative strategies and tactics, raising capital and doing senior business development.

Previously, Jeff was a co-founder of Anthem Partners, a merchant bank that was a joint venture with Sanwa Bank. Prior to that, Jeff founded the Transaction Development Group at Drexel Burnham, which he joined after serving as a Managing Director in Corporate Finance and M&A at Lehman Brothers.

Jeff initiated the first joint venture between China and a Fortune 100 company while at Lehman. Jeff received his AB (economics, summa) from Princeton and his MBA (Baker Scholar)/JD, cum laude) from Harvard. Jeff serves on both corporate and charitable boards.
